Nivaldo came from northern Brazil with his parents, when he was seven years old, he had two brothers living in Paraisópolis.
When he arrived there was scrubland and shack; well there weren’t brick houses. Nivaldo always worked; first in “UNIÃO DOS MORADORES” for thirteen years, later practicing the role of a carpenter and for five years leading community.
He works that only São Paulo City Council can help Paraisópolis.
He works in school of São Paulo City Council and works as a volunteer, today at the age of forty one, he has the pleasure of being a leader in Paraisópolis.
